Enough Already Board Rules

Conditions

• All members agreed to abide by the rules as posted here as a condition of joining.
• The rules are subject to revision at anytime.
• The rules can be reviewed by members at anytime by clicking the "Rules" link in the menu bar.
• Posts that break the rules will be removed.

Rules

• We aim to create and maintain an informal, relaxed and friendly approach on these forums and a self-regulatory approach to moderation, with minimal intervention. In return, all we ask is for members to observe a few basic rules out of respect and fairness to all users. Specifically the following, which concern content and general approach:

1. No pornography is allowed at all. This includes links to pornography.
2. Please no trolling. Trolling means baiting or provoking other posters with deliberately rude, disrespectful or condescending remarks. It also includes posting comments designed to de-rail thread topics.
3. Focus on the issue and not the individual. Discuss what someone has said, not the person concerned.
4. No personal insults. This obviously requires interpretation and we do not want to stop light banter between posters. But neither should anybody feel insulted or upset by something they read on our board.
5. Treat others as you would be treated. This is a forum for serious and wide-ranging discussion. It also welcomes diverse opinions. But this should be possible without use of extreme and / or malicious comments concerning ethnicity, gender, creed, disability or sexual orientation. Posts with unreasonable content of this nature may be referred for moderation and possibly removed.

• Personal aggression, condescension, rudeness, racism, bigotry and sexism are not welcome here and may lead to you being banned.

Complaints

• Complaints about the content of any post should first be reported by using the "Report this post" button that is placed on every post (The red exclamation mark button in every post - please note the appearance may vary in some styles). Using this function will ensure that the board admins and mods are alerted so that they can deal with the post as soon as possible.
• If you are not happy about a moderation decision then you should appeal by Private Message to the Site Admin, who will deal with your complaint as soon as possible.
