Great reward for all the work he has put in! And as he said on interview, there is only one gold left for him to win and that is in 2012!! Good on him.

And Martyn Bernard winning that bronze! How anyone could jump in that weather is amazing - hope he doesn't get forgotten for ONLY being third.

Well Morgan has given the selectors a nice problem for the Ashes. It really does seem as though we now have a decent selection of good opening and middle order batsmen to choose from.

Another totally unrelated matter. Contador to leave Astana - could be an interesting team being set up for next year...

Great problem to have though BP, Morgan looks a good player, although should have been out early on, so a bit lucky as well which is what you need sometimes.

Ages - class is permanent. He's had very little cricket in the last couple of months - Hampshire wouldn't even play him in their recent 40 over game to give him some time in the middle, despite an ECB request. He'll come good - hopefully down under when he swats Mitchell Johnson all round the Gabba.

Hope you are right! But don't blame Hants - he has hardly endeared himself to them.

No that was quite understandable - he'd already made his request to leave. I think the ECB thought they had more influence than they turned out to!

Listening to test match special yesterday it seems KP maybe treading on thin ice and his place is in danger.

Dominic Cork thought the IPL was a lot to blame for it as well and the large amount of money was a factor.

A generally good evening for the kids in Barcelona , but share disappointment over the 1500m.

Our 1500m runners have been tactically inept for a number of years now. They all think they are good sprinters - they aren't - they are good over 1500m and that is why they are there!

The post race interviews with them were worrying - they did not admit they had got it wrong!

Still tomorrow is another day and we have a few more to win !

A simple question.

Would you want Marlon King to play for your club?

Unfortunately yet another botched handover in the mens relay :( Our teams seem to be making something of a habit of this.
