Strange one that as usually their lyrics are so insightful and profound

I know, I was let down too

Shaz there really are people who love that kind of thing, trust me, my Mil is one of them.

Some of the family love this next one. Even Mrs Doc does

I'm waiting with trepidation for her to discover Peter Andre's new offering, that's offering as in sacrifice

Oh Vic, we heard Stevie, I just called on the radio yesterday and commented how naff it is.

He is a talented artist, even if not to one's particular taste, but that song is awful. As if "Happy Birthday to you"
"I asked her to dance, she asked me to die.......... would that I could Lily, would that I could"

Shaz

I wanted to post "I Just Called" but didn't want to upset Pos

As for Happy Birthday. It's a tribute to the late Dr Martin Luther King so for me personally means a great deal.

I can see if you hear it as a straight birthday song it can be cheesy but it is dedicated to a great human being who sacfricised his life to change the world we now live in. Would Obama be president of the USA today without this man's contribution?

Unfortunately the struggle still goes on. Bob Marley from a speech made by Haile Gebrselassie, the lion of Ethiopia...

Until the colour of a man's eyes is of no more significance then the colour of his skin..........I wish......

To me it doesn't get much more toe curling than Paul Anka's "You're Having My Baby"

Posting 'I Just Called' wouldn't upset me, i think i've said before how awful i think it is, but he's done so many classics for me i'll let him off that one :D also agree with Doc about Happy Birthday, for me one of those songs where you've got to look at it in the bigger picture. This ones got to be mentioned though Carole Bayer Sayer, You're Moving Out

Of course, you're entitled to your opinion Orso, but I love Billy Joel. It doesn't help when people like Barry White murder his stuff though.
